Kuna woman, three children injured in rollover crash on I-84

September 10, 2013

A 26-year-old Kuna woman and three children were transported to North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding after a rollover crash Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 5:05 p.m. on Interstate 84 at milepost 157 near Wendell.

Police say Hailee Newby was driving east on the highway when her vehicle drifted off the left shoulder. She overcorrected, lost control and the vehicle went off the right shoulder. The vehicle rolled once.

Newby and the children were all wearing their seatbelts, police said. Eastbound lanes of the highway were blocked for one hour.

Newby was discharged from the hospital Monday night, a hospital official said Tuesday. No information was available on the conditions of the children.
