Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State volleyball wins two at Wildcat Challenge

EVANSTON, Ill. — The Broncos defeated Belmont 25-14, 25-16, 25-22 and Columbia 25-16, 25-21, 26-28, 25-22. Taylor Murphey led four Broncos in double-digit kills against Columbia with 13. Brittany Reardon led the Broncos (2-2) with seven kills against Belmont.

BSU SOCCER: The Broncos tied Weber State 0-0 in Boise.

BSU CROSS COUNTRY: Emma Bates won the women’s 4k title in 14:11.0, and the women won the Utah Open. The men’s team placed second.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE VOLLEYBALL: Dixie State spoiled the Crusaders’ season opener 31-29, 25-23, 22-25, 25-17 in St. George, Utah.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO VOLLEYBALL: The Coyotes fell to 0-6 with a 25-19, 25-12, 25-17 loss to Eastern Oregon.

C OF I MEN’S SOCCER: Rocky Mountain defeated the Coyotes 5-3 in the Cascade/Frontier Red Lion Challenge in Spokane.

C OF I WOMEN’S SOCCER: Rocky Mountain won 2-1 on a goal in the 105th minute.

IDAHO VOLLEYBALL: The Vandals lost to Cal State Northridge 18-25, 25-23, 25-16, 22-25, 15-8 at the Northern Arizona Fiesta Bowl Tournament in Flagstaff, Ariz.
