STATESMAN STAFFSeptember 6, 2013

BOISE — David deKastrozza, 26, set career highs in goals (19), assists (21) and points (40) while leading Idaho in games played (66) last season. He also led the team — and was fifth in the ECHL — in short-handed goals, with five. His teammates voted him the Unsung Hero at the end of the season. He is the third returning player to commit to Idaho, along with defenseman James Isaacs and forward Brett Robinson.
