Police seek suspect in credit card theft

September 5, 2013

Boise police are turning to the public for help identifying a woman suspected of stealing a credit card.

Surveillance photos from a store in the 8300 block of West Overland Road show the woman using a stolen credit card. The card’s owner told police that it went missing at a convenience store Aug. 14 or 15.

The owner called police after noticing unauthorized charges on the account. The suspect racked up more than $200 in charges Aug. 15, police said.

The woman has a star tattoo on both wrists, and was last seen driving a light and dark Suburban or similar vehicle.

Anyone with information about her identity or whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
