If you like the views in this photo overlooking the Grangeville-Salmon Road in Central Idaho, you'll love driving this easy, 67-mile scenic route in the Nez Perce National Forest.

Viridescent mountain ridges, carpeted in pine and fir and spiced with gray-white granite outcroppings, go in all directions as you drive the road, which is mostly paved.

It leads to amazing country with vistas of the Salmon River canyon, Seven Devils, Camas Prairie and 206,053-acre Gospel Hump Wilderness. It's a scenic drive you can do in the comfort of your sedan or SUV.
