What’s open and closed for Labor Day in the Treasure Valley

What’s open and closed for Labor Day:

• Schools in the Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Caldwell, Melba and Vallivue, Nampa and Middleton school districts will be closed Monday.

• Boise State University and administrative offices will be closed.

• All county, state and federal offices will be closed The cities of Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Garden City, Eagle, Star, Nampa and Caldwell will be closed.

• All local libraries will be closed.

• Allied Waste in Ada and Canyon counties, Sanitary Services in Meridian, J & M Sanitation Service in Kuna and Benjamin’s Rural Disposal in rural Canyon County will delay trash collection by one day the rest of the week.

• ValleyRide city buses will not run.

• Post offices will be closed, and no mail, except Express Mail, will be delivered.

• Boise Towne Square mall will be open. Boise Outlet Mall will be open.

• All state liquor stores will be open. Contract stores may be open.

• Most supermarkets will be open.

• Most banks will be closed.
