Boise woman charged with kicking, spitting on cop

— A 51-year-old woman pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving is facing a felony charge after police say she attacked an officer.

A 911 caller reported seeing Jennifer Lynn Hardin driving down the middle of State Street, taking up two lanes.

Witnesses also said the woman struck their car in a parking lot, then took off.

Officers who stopped the vehicle near Jefferson and 11th Streets said Hardin appeared “very intoxicated.”

Police said the suspect was uncooperative and lashed out at one officer, kicking him in the leg and spitting on him.

Hardin was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail, where she blew a blood alcohol content of .16/.15.

She has been charged with felony battery on an officer and misdemeanor DUI.
