Statesman staffAugust 26, 2013

Yogey Perez-Ramos hit a bases-loaded walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th to lift Hillsboro to a 6-5 victory over Boise on Sunday afternoon in Oregon. The loss, which was the Hawks' first at Hillsboro's stadium this season, put an end to Boise four-game win streak. It was the first time in 34 games that the Hawks have lost when leading after the seventh inning. David Bote, Jordan Hankins and Lance Rymel each had two hits in the loss for the Hawks. Late Saturday, the Hawks defeated Hillsboro 2-1 behind a 3-for-4 showing from Jacob Rogers.

ROSTER MOVES: Pitcher Jose Arias has been promoted to the Class-A Kane County Cougars, and pitcher Trey Masek has been sent to the Arizona Rookie League.
