A 53-year-old Boise man was hospitalized Sunday afternoon after he crashed his motorcycle on Interstate 84, according to Idaho State Police. The crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m. near milepost 88, west of Mountain Home.

Police say Konrad O. Kahm was traveling west on a 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle, then crashed into the median.

Kahm was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, police said. He was taken by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

Westbound lanes of Interstate 84 were blocked for about a half hour. The crash is under investigation.
