A four-plex in the 3300 block of West Nez Perce Street was damaged Tuesday evening.

A garage was destroyed and a second residence was damaged after the fire spread through the attic, Boise fire Chief Dennis Doan said.

Power lines were knocked down and firefighters warned neighbors to stay out of the alley.

The Boise Fire Union offered to donate money from the group's burnout fund to assist residents who were displaced.
