Dust Devils top Hawks, take 3-1 lead in series

STATESMAN STAFFAugust 20, 2013

PASCO, Wash. - Tri-City's Ashley Graeter lined an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to break a 3-3 tie, and the Dust Devils defeated the Hawks 6-3.

The Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the second on a Danny Lockhart RBI groundout, but a pair of Boise errors in the bottom of the inning evened the score. Boise made it 3-1 in the third inning, but was unable to hold that lead.

The two teams will finish out the five-game series Tuesday night. Boise's Dillon Maples is scheduled to start.
