STATESMAN STAFFAugust 19, 2013

PASCO, Wash. - Tri-City defeated Boise 10-2 on Sunday, one day after it had routed the Hawks 11-0. Boise, which had won nine of 10 games prior to those two losses, will get a chance for a series split when the two teams play again Monday night. Starter Paul Blackburn took the loss after allowing four runs - and two home runs - in three innings.
