The Aug. 14 article about a decline in season ticket purchases made me laugh. As a former season ticket holder who no longer purchases season tickets, it hit a nerve.
With the cost of the BAA donation for a mediocre seat at $390 per seat, it is no wonder that fans are starting to balk at making these expenditures.
The last seats that we paid $1,400 for the pair were in row R in section 106. That is a hike for a young person, let alone a couple in their 60s. And for $120 per seat per game, it is just not worth it. And the $2 senior discount on individual ticket purchases is an absolute joke.
Thanks, I love the Broncos, but I will watch what I can on TV and read about the rest of it in the Statesman.
