By the Numbers: Home prices keep rising in Ada, Canyon counties

Another month passes, another set of post-recession sale and price records falls in the Treasure Valley. According to the Intermountain Multiple Listings Service, July picked up where May and June left off as the demand of home buyers drove up prices and an expanding inventory fed oxygen to the fire.

Several areas experienced big month-to-month jumps in home sales, including Northwest Boise (32.6 percent), Eagle (24.2 percent), Northeast Nampa (42.5 percent) and Northwest Nampa (39.5 percent).
