Media outlets around the country are talking about WinCo Foods, the Boise-based retailer that is known for low prices, no frills and employee ownership.

The latest is a story Wednesday by TIME magazine that riffs on a profile published last month in the Statesman's Business Insider, where a retail analyst is quoted saying WinCo is "Wal-Mart's worst nightmare."

The Statesman has created an interactive timeline showing WinCo's steady growth since the 1980s, including stores WinCo plans to open in the future. Check it out at http://www.idahostatesman.com/2013/08/08/2695556/a-timeline-of-wincos-growth.html
