BOISE — Boise returns to Memorial Stadium on Thursday night for the first time since July 30 following a road trip to Everett and the ensuing three-day NWL All-Star break.
The Hawks are 27-24 overall, 6-7 in the second half. Boise hosts Vancouver for five games in four days, starting Thursday at 7:15 p.m., and concluding with a doubleheader Sunday, which begins at noon.
After taking Monday off, the Hawks will host Eugene for a three-game set.
ZASTRYZNY CALLED UP: Pitcher Rob Zastryzny was promoted to Class A Kane County. The second-round pick in June's MLB Draft played in eight games for Boise, making seven starts. He posted a 3.14 ERA in 14[0xb7] innings with 16 strikeouts and four walks.
