STATESMAN STAFFAugust 7, 2013

EVERETT, Wash. — Boise’s Tyler Bremer earned the save in the South’s 8-7 win over the North in the Northwest League’s All-Star Game on Tuesday at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Teammate James Pugliese pitched 2/3 of an inning for a hold before Bremer took the mound for the final out of the game.

First baseman Jacob Rogers was the only Hawks player out of five who took an at-bat to register a hit. Rogers was 1-for-3 with an RBI.

The Hawks begin an eight-game homestand Thursday against Vancouver.
