Idaho's climbing gas prices 23 cents higher than national average

Gas prices in Idaho are up 7 cents since July 26 and are 32 cents higher than August 2012.

Boise's average of $3.84 per gallon was eighth highest in the nation and 23 cents above the national average of $3.61, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report.

The national average dropped six cents since July 26.

Here's a list of average gas prices in Idaho's biggest cities:

- Nampa $3.89 per gallon

- Boise $3.88

- Twin Falls $3.84

- Pocatello $3.80

- Idaho Falls $3.79

- Lewiston $3.75

- Coeur d'Alene $3.74
