Former Boise Hawk wins ‘Bachelorette’

August 6, 2013

The winner of the ninth season of ABC’s "The Bachelorette" is Chris Siegfried, a former Boise Hawks pitcher. Siegfried was picked by bachelorette Desiree Hartsock on the reality series, which concluded Monday.

Siegfried pitched for the Hawks in 2007, throwing in 14 games in relief with a 2.35 ERA. He also pitched in Peoria, Ill., and Daytona, Fla., in the Chicago Cubs' minor league system.
