Boise residential developments, multifamily building on city's agenda

Boise Planning & Zoning Commission, 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, Boise City Hall Council Chambers, Third Floor, 150 N. Capitol Blvd.

Jaymee Fojtik appeals the planning director's approval of three additional parking spaces in an existing residential development at 2268 S. Gekeler Lane in an R-1C (single-family residential zone).

Friends of Loggers Creek Preservation appeals the Design Review Committee's approval of nine multifamily residential buildings through two building types with associated club, pool, fitness facility and mailbox pavilion along with landscape and parking improvements. The project at 501 E. ParkCenter Blvd. is in L-OD (limited office with design review), R-1B and R-1C (single-family residential) zones.

Boise seeks conditional-use and hillside-development permits for an expansion to an existing shooting range at 1800 N. Mountain Cove Road in an A-2 (open land) zone.

C13 LLC seeks annexation of 12 acres at 5237 E. Sawmill Way with a zoning designation of R-1B (single-family residential - 4.8 units per acre). In a related request, C13 LLC seeks a conditional-use and Boise River System permits for a 47-unit planned residential development at 5237 E. Sawmill Way in a proposed R-1B (single-family residential) zone.

Maverik Inc. - Todd Meyers is requesting a design review for construction of a new single-story fuel station with associated pumps and site work in a pending C-1D (neighborhood commercial with design review) zone at 3080 S. Five Mile Road.

Topanga Investments LLC - Ronald Gray is requesting a design review for construction of a five-story, multiple-family residential structure with enclosed parking at grade and related site improvements in a R-OD (residential office with design review) zone at 1005 W. Royal Blvd.

Hawkins Cos. - Bryan Vaughn is requesting a design review for a recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a sign variance on Capitol Boulevard. Request is to exceed the square footage allowed for a projecting sign and review of the sign program in a C-3DDC (central business with downtown design review and Capitol Boulevard overlay) zone at 300 S. Capitol Blvd.

Mark Bowen is requesting a design review for conceptual approval for the construction of a 334,000-square-foot, nine-story office building in a C-5DD (central district with downtown design review) zone at 1099 W. Front St.
