Sublime with Rome rolls into the Revolution Center.

  • Sublime with Rome

8 p.m. Aug. 7, Revolution Center, 4983 Glenwood St., Garden City. $35 general, $55 VIP. Ticketfly. Opening: Iration.

The brief story of Sublime ended tragically in 1996 with the heroin overdose of charismatic frontman Bradley Nowell. But the Long Beach, Calif., trio’s music continues to be popular, and original bassist Eric Wilson now tours with singer-guitarist Rome Ramirez as Sublime with Rome.

Fusing ska, punk and reefer-friendly vibes, Sublime with Rome’s concerts conjure up a feel-good atmosphere that celebrates life in general, as well as Nowell’s memory.
