The ‘Fish Spots’ art show is coming to downtown Boise.

    7 p.m. Aug. 8 Solid Grill and Bar, 403 W. 8th St., Fulton Street Showroom at 8th and Fulton streets and Front Street Brokers, 877 W. Front St. in Downtown Boise. Free.

Explore the world of fly fishing through art at “Fish Spots,” an art extravaganza featuring some of the best outdoor artists and photographers in the region.

Sales will benefit Reel Recovery, a nonprofit program that uses the art of fly fishing to help men recovering from cancer.

You’ll see the work of a dozen artists from Boise and beyond, including Josh Udesen; Ed Anderson and A.D. Maddox; photographers Bryan Huskey and Brian O’Keefe; plus filmmaker and actor Travis Swartz (aka Hank Patterson).
