Hawks drop first game of road series in Washington

EVERETT, Wash. — The AquaSox scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning to take the lead and held on for a 7-4 win Wednesday night. Yasiel Balaguert hit his fifth home run of the season in the loss, while Kevin Encarnacion went 3-for-5. Duane Underwood (1-3) took the loss after allowing four earned runs in four innings of relief. The game was the first contest of a five-game series at Everett.
