Two arrested in connection with report of burglary from Eagle home

— Ada County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested two people Wednesday afternoon after a man said his Eagle home was burglarized and that he was threatened with a firearm earlier in the day.

Louis A. Wallace, 29, of Boise is charged with felony counts of burglary and aggravated assault. Amanda L. Kimey, 20, of Twin Falls is charged with felony burglary.

Here's what the sheriff's office said happened:

• A man said that around 8:30 a.m. he found a woman he knew, later identified as Kimey, walking out of his house with an Xbox video game system. The man said Kimey got into a pickup with two men and drove away.

• The man who reported the incident said that after be began following the pickup, it stopped, the two male occupants exited the vehicle and one - later identified as Wallace - pointed a handgun at him.

• The men got back into the pickup an drove away, and the other man followed them and called 911.

• Garden City police pulled the pickup over near the West State Street/North Confederate Lane intersection by 8:51 a.m.

Wallace and Kimey are set to make their initial court appearances Thursday afternoon. The other man in the truck had not been charged in connection with the incident as of 4 p.m. Wednesday.
