Former BSU golfer qualifies for U.S. Amateur

KUNA - T.K. Kim fired rounds of 64 and 68 to finish at 12-under and win the qualifier by five strokes at Falcon Crest Golf Club on Monday.

The U.S. Amateur is Aug. 12-19 at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass.

Devon Purser, from Clearfield, Utah, earned the first alternate spot, and Boise's Taylor Schmidt is the second alternate.
