Ada County Pet of the Week: Browning the shepherd

July 30, 2013

Browning, 10 months, is an Australian shepherd with a gorgeous, thick brown and white coat of fur. He is smart, active and motivated to please and would be an excellent dog to continue training in obedience or agility.

He already knows some basic obedience commands and appears to be both crate and house trained. Browning gets along well with other dogs and enjoys the company of humans (a cat-free household would be best though). He is not a “couch potato” so an active family that will include him in daily activities would be best. Browning has a lovely rich chocolate brown coat of fur that will need occasional brushing.

Browning (#20475727) can be found at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The phone number is 342-3508.
