Two hurt in Star wreck

July 27, 2013

— Two men were injured this evening when a pickup allegedly ran a red light and ran into a mini van at the intersection of West Chinden Boulevard and Star Road just after 6 p.m.

The van was turning left onto Star Lane when the pickup struck the front of the van.

Two men in the van were injured and taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, the Ada County Sheriff's Office said.

An adult driver and two children in the pickup were treated at the scene but did not require hospitalization, the sheriff's office said.
