With a wide variety of local and regional acts taking the stage at the first-ever Hermit Music Festival, you can’t really pin down the event as purely “rootsy” or “old-timey.” Maybe the best way to describe this music is by simply calling it “acoustic.” (Mostly.) Or not. Whatever the case, when you combine that concept with vendors, food trucks and the scenic terrain of Indian Creek Winery, it starts to sound rather relaxing and appealing, doesn’t it? It also helps to have notable out-of-staters on the bill such as Wayne “The Train” Hancock and Charlie Parr.
