Police: Suspect sexually abused three children in Boise

July 25, 2013

— A Boise man has been charged with five felony counts of lewd conduct with a minor.

Matthew Wesley Angell, 25, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. Police said the charges stem from inappropriate contact with three children under the age of 16.

The victims told detectives that the contact had happened more than once. Police said the illegal activity happened at private homes in Boise over the past year.

All three victims knew Angell, police said.

The suspect could face up to life in prison if he is convicted. He is being held in the Ada County Jail, and will make his first court appearance Thursday.
