Left turns prohibited from Idaho 44 onto State Street through Sunday

— Highway crews will begin Thursday rebuilding the left-turn lane at the intersection of Idaho 44 and West State Street.

Motorists will be prevented from making a left turn onto State Street from the highway through 7 p.m. Sunday.

During the closure, drivers are encouraged to access West State Street from Eagle Road.

EAGLE – Crews will begin rebuilding the left-turn lane at the intersection of Idaho 44 and W. State Street Thursday morning (July 25). Drivers will be prohibited from making a left-turn from Idaho 44 onto W. State Street during the work, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced. The left-turn lane will reopen by 7 p.m. Sunday (July 28).

During this closure, drivers are encouraged to access W. State Street from Eagle Road.
