Boise Airport to rebuild Zeppelin Street

Boise - The Idaho StatesmanJuly 22, 2013

— C&A Paving's $329,569 bid won the contract to rebuild Zeppelin Street on the airport's south side.

This project follows a similar reconstruction effort last year, when crews rebuilt Stimpson Street and part of Harvard Street.

Built in the 1940s as part of a military facility, Zeppelin Street is in "terrible" disrepair, airport spokeswoman Patti Miller said.

Like Stimpson and Harvard streets, Zeppelin will provide access to the air traffic control tower, which is scheduled to open later this year.
