Capital wins Potato Bowl 7-on-7 tournaments

— Capital High swept the varsity and junior varsity 7-on-7 passing tournaments at the third annual Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Football Challenge Games on Saturday.

Forty high school teams and 588 athletes competed in the two-day event at the Optimist Youth Football complex in Boise. Capital beat Highland in the varsity tournament, and Meridian in the JV tournament. Mountain View won the lineman's challenge, and Eagle won the tug-of-war contest.
