HUNTING

Super Hunt lottery deadline is Aug. 10

Entries are for two elk, two deer and two pronghorn hunts, one moose hunt, and a "Super Hunt Combo" for one elk, deer, pronghorn and moose.

Super Hunt tag winners can hunt in any open hunt in the state, including general and controlled hunts for the species they draw.

Enter at any license vendors, fishandgame.idaho.gov or by calling (800) 554-8685.

GEOLOGY

Program set July 24 at Foothills Center

If you have ever wondered about the rocks and formations that shape the Boise Foothills, check out the program from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center, 3188 Sunset Peak Road.
