By the Numbers: Housing distress declines in the Treasure Valley

June topped the post-recession records set in May for home sales and median prices in the Treasure Valley, according to the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service.

The price increases are due in part to a drop in short-sale and foreclosure listings, which suppress median prices for the overall market, says Greg Manship, CEO of the listing service.
