Man, has it really been 20 years? Arizona quartet Jimmy Eat World formed in 1993, but it wasn't until 2001 that the entire planet got to know the group's melodic, insistent approach to rock music.

Jimmy Eat World's album "Bleed American" actually seemed to bleed hit singles that year, including the No. 1 modern-rock smash "The Middle."

Commercial sales haven't rocked as hard since, but that isn't stopping the group from releasing new albums; "Damage" hit the streets last month.
