Open the floodgates of fun!

It's time to celebrate at the annual Eagle Fun Days. It went through a few changes after moving from June to July in 2012. It no longer coincides with the Eagle Rodeo, and there is no carnival or community breakfast this year. But there's still no shortage of fun with a lineup of family entertainment, arts and crafts, concerts in the park and its signature Wet & Wild Parade.

• You'll find arts, crafts and more on North 2nd Street in downtown Eagle and food vendors in Heritage Park, 185 E. State St., starting at 4 p.m. July 12 and 10 a.m. July 13.

JULY 12

• Decorate your tricycle, bicycle or cruiser and bring it down to Family Bike Night at 5:30 p.m. in Heritage Park.

• Party with local band iRock in Heritage Park, starting at 6:30 p.m.

JULY 13

• You'll find fun, kid-friendly entertainment in the Heritage Park Gazebo starting at 11:30 a.m.

• Cool off at "The Fun Starts Here" Wet & Wild Parade through downtown Eagle at 2 p.m. Bring your water bazooka and be prepared to get soaked.

• Dine at the Eagle Fire Department's Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed from 5 to 10 p.m. at Merrill Park, 637 E. Shore Drive.

• Rock out to Gold Rush at Heritage Park from 6 p.m. to dusk.

• Enjoy a fireworks display at dark.
