Boise vehicle burglary suspects turn themselves in

The Ada County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday evening that two suspects in a vehicle burglary last month in Boise turned themselves in.

Officials said the men - a 22-year-old from Meridian and a Boise 21-year-old - came forward after seeing images and surveillance video broadcast by media and the sheriff's office's Facebook page.

The sheriff's office said the men confessed to breaking into a Jeep on June 24 in the driveway of a home on West Stirrup Street in the neighborhood of Maple Grove and Lake Hazel roads in South Boise. They also confessed to using credit cards taken from the vehicle.

The men face felony burglary and fraud charges. The sheriff's office said their names will be released after charges are filed.
