— The Larry and Marianne Williams Foundation is giving the money in support of the $3.5 million Athletics and Outdoor Education Center, slated to begin construction later this year.

The facility will provide training and support for student-athletes, including the reinstated football team that will begin competing in 2014. Phase two of the project is a $1.2 million Outdoor Education Center inside the facility.

Last month, former C of I football player Joe Glaisyer donated $100,000 in honor of former coach Ed "Buzz" Bonaminio. The head football coach's office in the new facility will be named after Bonaminio, who coached the Coyotes from 1965-71.
