Fire crews respond to downed power line in Caldwell

July 2, 2013

— Caldwell and Middleton firefighters are responding to a downed power line in the 2200 block of Kimball Street in Caldwell. Dispatchers said it appears that a falling tree knocked the power line down.

A nearby resident said that smoke appeared to be coming from the downed tree.

An Idaho Power spokesman said that the outage was not widespread, and affected only one or two homeowners in the area. The power has since been restored.
