Traffic heavy on interstate, Eagle Road

June 28, 2013

Traffic is moving slowly Friday morning, with congestion on westbound I-84 between Black Cat Road and Nampa Boulevard. Commuters are hitting stop-and-go traffic in some spots.

Interstate traffic is constricted through Meridian as well, especially between Cloverdale Road and Locust Grove Road.

On 1st Street and Bannock Street in Boise, barricades have been set up on the road as ACHD crews work to repair a sinkhole.

Previous heavy traffic around the Boise airport has since cleared up.

On Eagle Road, traffic moving north is constricted between McMillan Road and Chinden Boulevard.

No crashes have been reported as of 8:55 a.m. All other roads appear clear.
