A Parma man who made a little boy touch him in a public bathroom was sentenced to serve at least six years - and up to 12 - in prison, Canyon County Prosecutor Bryan Taylor announced Thursday.

Juan Perales, 38, was sentenced by Judge Molly J. Huskey on a felony charge of lewd conduct with a minor child under the age of 16 for an incident that occurred on Aug. 28, 2012, at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Caldwell. That's when prosecutors say Perales grabbed a 7-year-old boy's hand and put it on Perales' penis.

During Perales' sentencing, evidence was also presented that in 2010 he touched a 4 year old girl and performed lewd acts with her.

“The court is considering there are two victims now. You approached a complete and total stranger in a total public place,” Huskey told Perales in court. “What you did was significant; it has earned you some penitentiary time.”

Perales was also ordered to register as a Sex Offender, pay each victim a $5,000 civil penalty and have no contact with the victims.
