Hawks game postponed; Boise will play two today

Boise's scheduled game against the Hillsboro Hops was postponed Tuesday night because of rain.

The two teams will play a pair of seven-inning games Wednesday night at Memorial Stadium. The first game is scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m., and the second contest would be played 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Tuesday's rainout was the first Hawks home game to be called since Aug. 17, 2004. Two games were rained out that summer.

Tickets that were purchased for Tuesday's game can be replaced with a ticket for any remaining home game throughout this season (based on availability). Season ticket-holders can use their ticket for Wednesday night's game for both contests.

Wednesday's games will mark the first meetings between the two clubs, as Hillsboro is playing its first season in the Northwest League.

Hillsboro is off to a 3-8 start. Boise (4-7) is on a four-game losing streak after a tough, five-game road trip at Spokane.
