A Caldwell man was injured Sunday night when he crashed his motorcycle into a barrier on the right side of the road.

Ryan Slick, 25, was headed eastbound on the Flying Wye towards Mountain Home when he lost control of the motorcycle, sending it off the road and into the barrier. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to Idaho State Police.

Slick was taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. He remained in the hospital Monday morning.

The two right lanes of travel were blocked for one hour Sunday night. Idaho State Police are investigating the wreck.
