Boise Hawks drop first game of doubleheader in Spokane

The Spokane Indians defeated Boise 3-2 in the early game Saturday in Washington.

Starter Loiger Padron (0-1) took the loss after allowing three earned runs in four innings. Catcher Justin Marra went 2-for-3 with a home run for the Hawks, who loaded the bases with no outs in the sixth, but failed to score a run in the inning.

The nightcap was still in progress at press time.
