Public Market at the Village at Meridian

The valley's newest, and Meridian's only, farmers market takes place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through Sept. 14 in the parking lot next to Big Al's in the Village at Meridian at the northeast corner of Eagle Road and Fairview Avenue.

Offerings from more than a dozen vendors include local produce and meats, gourmet edibles, jewelry, crafts and children's goods.

"Rooster hours"

Early risers will get first dibs on produce, meats and baked goods starting at 8 a.m.

Phase two

The Village at Meridian's second phase will add approximately 600,000 square feet of restaurants, cinema and retail shops, and 150,000 square feet of office space. A grand opening for this phase of the project is planned for October.
