Boise police: 23-year-old arrested for driving drunk with teens

June 20, 2013

— A Boise man faces charges for DUI and injury to a child after police say he was pulled over with several teenage passengers.

A patrolling officer stopped Matthew Thomas Meteyer, 23, Wednesday night after the driver failed to use a turn signal.

Meteyer appeared intoxicated, police said. He failed several field sobriety tests, and registered at .145/.146 blood alcohol content during a breath test.

Three passengers in the car were teenagers under the age of 18. Meteyer was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail.

He was charged with three misdemeanor counts of injury to a child and misdemeanor DUI. Police also cited Meteyer for driving without insurance.
