State wants input on plan to clean up Idaho Linen site

Chemical contamination from nearly eight decades of use as a laundry facility need to be cleaned up before the buildings at 508 and 516 S. 8th St. in Boise are useable for residential or commercial purposes. 

Boise company Rim View, LLC, which bought the property last year, has developed a draft plan for cleaning up the pollutants.

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality will accept written comments by mail and email until July 22 at 5 p.m.
