Steelheads open 2013-14 season Oct. 18 in Utah

Idaho opens its 72-game schedule at the Utah Grizzlies, and plays its home opener Wednesday, Oct. 23, against the San Francisco Bulls.

Games in CenturyLink Arena will start at 7:10 p.m., except for Sunday games against Bakersfield on Dec. 22 and Jan. 26, which will start at 5:10 p.m. Utah (12), Bakersfield (11) and Alaska (11) are the most common opponents on the schedule, which this season will not include any games against Eastern Conference opponents.

The home schedule includes games on Wednesdays (14), Fridays (10), Saturdays (10) and Sundays (two). The Steelheads will play 11 games during a season-long homestand between Nov. 27 and Dec. 22. Their final home games of the regular season are April 4-5 against Colorado, and the regular season concludes the following weekend with games at Utah on April 11-12.
