VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Cleanup day planned at Bogus Basin

Signups are being taken for the Winter Wildlands Bogus Basin Clean Up Day of Action at 10 a.m. July 13.

The group will be cleaning up the Nordic trail system, which sees more than 10,000 skiers, snowshoers and elementary school children during the winter.

Those interested in carpooling can go to the Bogus Basin Main Office at 2600 Bogus Basin Road at 9 a.m. to ride up.

RECREATION

Redfish Center & Gallery is now open

The center at Redfish Lake is open daily 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Sept. 15. Daily interpretive programs will start July 14.

Boat tours with a naturalist on Redfish Lake will be Saturdays at 1 p.m. and Sundays at 3:30 p.m.
