Boise Fire mopping up small grass fire

— A small grass fire north of Boise has been contained by fire crews, according to dispatchers.

The fire, near the intersection of Cartwright Road and Dry Creek Road, burned about half an acre.

Although the blaze threatened a nearby home, the building was not damaged, dispatchers said.

Boise Fire crews are still on scene.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
